Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach Ben Kozak begins his
second year at WT and is the primary strength and conditioning
coach for football & equestrian. Coach Kozak comes to West Texas
from Louisiana Tech University where he was an assistant strength &
conditioning coach working with football & softball. Prior to his
time at Louisiana Tech coach Kozak spent 2015-2017 at Midland
University working with football, softball, men & women’s
basketball, men & women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse and
cheerleading. He graduated with his master's degree in Leadership
in Adult & Organizational Learning from Midland University (NE).
Ben earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College (KS)
where he double majored in Strength & Conditioning, and Physical
Education with a concentration in coaching. While at Benedictine
College he played offensive line and helped the Raven football
program win the 2013 HAAC championship.
The Eagle River, Alaska, native has multiple certifications
